Fashion maven Alexa Chung turned art director for UGG in the label’s first ever creative brand partnership. To celebrate the launch of the Classic 2.0 boot, Chung and UGG teamed up for a special shoot. In her new role, Chung oversaw the entire undertaking—from creating the concept to casting four of her friends, including Insta-famous poet Cleo Wade. Photographed by Ben Rayner in New York City, a series of portraits capture Cleo Wade, Brianna Lance, Coco Baudelle, and Anna Z Gray, in their homes modeling classic Ugg styles paired with their own wardrobe. “There is nothing I enjoy more than getting back to England and seeing all of my mates and that involves my uniform, which is UGG boots, jeans, and a navy blue jumper,” the Vogue contributing editor disclosed about her new partnership with the famous footwear brand. “I have an association with them being home, friends, hanging out and having fun.”
