BTHAINA PRESENTS IVORY OCEAN COLLECTION IN LONDON
Bthaina, Oman fashion label, presented its Ivory Ocean collection at Modest Fashion Festival London to VIP’s, influencers, press and esteemed guests. Vogue Arabia cover model, Halima Aden opened Bthaina’s show in an Ocean Blue embellished jalabiya. The black tie event at the Grosvenor House Hotel London, featured fashion shows by modest designers from around the world, a luxury pop-up boutique and charity auction.
The Modest Fashion Festival is a unique and innovative international platform showcasing luxurious and contemporary Modest Fashion brands from across the world. With fashion as an expression of one’s individuality, particular style and values, the platform provides a fresh and inspirational perspective which excites, informs and celebrates the Modest dresser. Through the medium of fashion, the aim is to empower the Modest dresser to exercise their right to choose, the confidence to explore, and the determination to succeed.

This was my first show in London so it was exciting to launch my brand at such a high profile event. It was an incredible opportunity to represent our region and display our unique heritage here in London.”
Inspired by Morocco and its alluring mystique, Bthaina’s latest collection entitled Ivory Ocean, fuses traditional styles and earthy colors with artisanal hand embroidery. Referencing the natural beauty and diverse heritage of Morocco, the collection exudes elegant bohemian charm.
The color palette consisting of soft shades of ivory with highlights of ocean blue, references the awe-inspiring landscape of Morocco. Silhouettes are fluid and light in kaftans and jalabiyas featuring capes, tiered layers and fluted sleeves.
