JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT A CLOCK COULDN’T GET ANYMORE MINIMAL
Yicong Lu‘s concept for the “Time of the Day” clock is a minimalist’s dream. The clock features three hands that inside of the face, all covered with a black border and a black stand that keeps it upright.
The clock is designed to change color throughout the day, having a clear face in the morning and gradually getting darker and darker as the day progresses, ending with a completely blacked-out look at during the night. The hands of the clock are painted white with black tips, allowing for them to be visible regardless of what color the clock’s face is.
