FENDI Unveils a Mesmerizing Holiday Season 2025 Inspired by the Falena
Starting November 2025, FENDI ushers in the Holiday Season with an enchanting visual narrative that transforms its most iconic global locations into a celebration of wonder, craftsmanship, and metamorphosis. Drawing inspiration from the Falena (moth) butterfly wing motif introduced in the newly launched FENDI Pre-Collection Spring/Summer 2026, the festive concept reimagines tradition through a contemporary, poetic lens.
At the heart of the holiday activation are dedicated boutique windows and decorations, debuting at prestigious landmarks including Harrods in London and Avenue Montaigne in Paris. These windows come alive through a striking magnetic installation that illustrates an eight-phase metamorphosis of the Falena, capturing the moth’s mysterious elegance and symbolic transformation. Each phase unfolds like a constellation, turning the holiday season into a moment of magical evolution.
Rooted deeply in FENDI’s exceptional craftsmanship, the Falena motifs are adorned with polka dots and fur details, accented by the House’s signature yellow. The materials speak the language of the Maison: Cuoio Romano leather, intricate embroidery, refined intarsia, and polished gold accents—all meticulously composed to celebrate tactile richness and artisanal mastery.
Set against a cinematic magenta backdrop, softened by a luminous white gradient cascading from above, the installation creates an immersive play of light and shadow. The moths open like radiant fans, suspended between stillness and flight, evoking the delicate moment when wings catch the light mid-air. Extending the festive vision beyond the windows, FENDI brings its signature irreverence to Largo Goldoni, in front of the FENDI Roma Palazzo Boutique. Unveiled on November 28, the House’s contemporary interpretation of the traditional holiday tree features a mirrored, sparkling metal structure adorned with glass ornaments. These glass balls showcase vibrant graphics from the Pre-Collection Spring/Summer 2026, rendered in a bold palette of turquoise, mandarin, slate blue, and blush pink, creating a luminous focal point that draws visitors like moths to a flame.
